এবার আমি শুতে যাই...

শুতে  যাই, এবার আমি শুতে যাই...

যাত্রার এই ক্লান্তি মেটাতে এবার আমি, শুতে যাই!!

এই  যাত্রা দেখালো কত কিছু...

রোগীন কিছু স্বপ্ন,

ঝলমলে কিছু মৃগয়া,

কিন্তু এসব সবি আলো-ছায়ার সৃষ্টি,

আসলে তো কিছু নয়, কেবলি চোখের জলের বৃষ্টি!!

এই যাত্রায় শুধু যে পেলাম...

অন্তহীন কাঁটা ভরা পথ,

কোনো পাষান হৃদয় নদী,

এক চিলতে তপ্ত আকাশ,

শুষ্ক মেঘের বজ্রপাত,

অমাবস্যার আঁধার রাত্রি,

আর কিছু মুখোশ পরা সহযাত্রী!!

হার মানিনি তাও, চলেছি লড়তে-লড়তে,

এই যাত্রার পথ জরিপ করতে-করতে,

কিন্তু যায়না যে চেনা, এখানে শত্রু কে আর মিত্র কে!

এগিয়েছি আগে, না সমানে পিছিয়ে পরেছি,

অদৃষ কোনো প্রতিযোগীর কাছে!

চেয়েছিলাম শুধু বিজাতার দলে নাম হোক আমার,

কিন্তু হেরে গেছে যেসব অনাম,

তারাও আমার নাম...

লিখতে দেয়নি নিজের মাঝে!!

লক্ষহীন এই নিরুদেস্য যাত্রা আমার, বুঝিয়ে দিয়েছে,

হয়ে এসেছে যাত্রা শেষের পালা!

এবার আর কোনো কিছু, দেখার নেই,

শোনার নেই, পাবার নেই, জানার নেই!!

ব্যস একটাই ইচ্ছা এবার রয়েছে মনে ...

শুতে যাই, এবার আমি শুতে যাই,

জীবন যাত্রার ক্লান্তি মেটাতে এবার আমি,

চিরনিদ্রায় শুতে যাই!!




English translation:

Now I Go To Sleep...

Going to sleep, now i go to sleep,

To recover from the tiredness of journey, now i go to sleep!!

This journey has shown so many things...

Some colorful dreams,

Some bright mirage,

But all these are just play of light and darkness,

There is nothing in reality, just rain of tears!!

Only things i got from this journey...

Endless road full of thorns,

Some stone hearted rivers,

A piece of scorching sky,

Lightening from dry clouds,

Moonless dark nights,

And some masked co-travelers!!

I have not accepted still, i keep on fighting,

Going on measuring the road,

But its so difficult to differentiate between friend and enemy!

Weather i have moved forward, or just keep going backwards,

Against some invisible competitor!

I just wanted to be named among the winners,

But even those nameless losers,

They also haven't allowed my name,

To be written among them!!




This aimless journey of mine,

Has made me realize,

The journey is at its last leg!

Now there is nothing, to see,

To hear, to get, to have!!




The only wish remains now...

Going to sleep, now i go to sleep,

To recover from the tiredness of life's journey, now i go to everlasting sleep!!
